Message from Our Chairperson

During this year we have seen many changes & new developments, but most of all we have seen support for employment options growing. Positive economic outlooks in the metropolitian area have increased our services to the highest levels we have seen ever. This success is not ours. It belongs to David, and Vanessa, and all the other individuals that accept risk and face the challenge of employment head on.

Over the last 28 years I have had the priverlege of working with some amazing individuals, but I always return to my late brother in-law Francis.

Francis was just one individual, but an individual that taught me the life long lesson that everyone should have the opportunitiy to make a contribution to their community. To be included, and to be heard.

As I look upon my own grandchild I wish for him to grow up in a world where differences are celebrated, barriers are a thing of the past, and diversity is more than a word. With continued work in our communities we may just reach that great goal!

As we celebrate this year's many accomplishments, it would be foolish to think that these successes would happen with out the dedicated staff of Avalon Employment Inc.

To Sean, Madonna, Linda, Krista, Joan, Judi, and Bernadette you should be very proud of the work that you do everyday, we know that you are making a difference.
